INGE KAUL
Inge Kaul is Special Advisor to the Office of Development Studies, which she directed from 1996 to 2005 at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). From 1990 to 1995 she was director of UNDP's Human Development Report Office, where she led a team of authors producing the annual Human Development Report. Before that she held other senior policy positions at UNDP.
She has extensive research experience in developing countries and is the author of a number of publications on development finance and the lead editor of Global Public Goods; International Cooperation in the 21st Century (with Isabelle Grunberg and Marc A. Stern; Oxford University Press, 1999) and Providing GlobalPublic Goods; Managing Globalization (with Pedro Conceição, Katell Le Goulven, and Ronald Mendoza; Oxford University Press, 2003).
PEDRO CONCEIÇÃO
Pedro Conceição is Acting Director, at UNDP's Office of Development Studies, which he joined in 2002. He is coauthor of Managing Globalization (with Inge Kaul, Katell Le Goulven, and Ronald Mendoza; Oxford University Press, 2003). He was previously Professor at the Technical University of Lisbon and Researcher at the Center for Innovation, Technology, and Policy Research, in Lisbon. He holds a PhD from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin. |
